This was our entry for the Spintunes 7 Round #1 challenge, "Child's Play". We were to write a song to a favorite childhood toy - we chose Play Doh.

A solitary lonely boy
An only child; the only toy
That let little hands create
Left marks on my blank slate

Vivid colors; carpet stains
Minor damage; major gains

You molded my imagination
As I exercised clay causation

A racecar making rounds
I'll make the engine sounds
A stop sign; a traffic cone

A spaceship dodging planets
The rocks my foe inhabits

A busybody bratty girl
All the toys make my head swirl
