This was my entry for the Spintunes 6 Round #3 challenge, "Occupy Spintunes". I was to write a protest song in which I was supposed to convince my audience about something I strongly believe. I decided to write a song about how the current government is out of touch with today's sensibilities and doesn't accurately represent the society over which they preside.

I can call a man, get a job, earn a wage
And relax at the end of a long work day
For how much pay compared to what's made
By the gal next door who works as much if not more

And I can ask that gal for her name, for her number

Fall madly in love and there are vows we can make
Ain't that just the same as when two men feel that way?
